Arizona Group to Push for a State Heritage Horse.
spacer (1K)
The Arizona Colonial Spanish Horse Project (ACSHP) is working on a new bill to have the Colonial Spanish Horse named as the Arizona State Heritage Horse. The bill will be ready by January for the Arizona 2011 Legislative Session. ACSHP will be working with Arizona State Legislators on this important equine legislation.

The basis of the Arizona State Heritage Horse Bill will be the proclamation on the Arizona State Heritage Horse that ACSHP is creating to send to Governor Brewer. It was always the intention to ask for a Governor's Proclamation if the State Horse bill failed in 2010. The proclamation will outline the historical impact of the Colonial Spanish Horse and request we acknowledge and celebrate all horses in Arizona.

For up-to-date information on ACSHP and the State Heritage Horse of Arizona please visit the Arizona Horse Project website.
